Embed your form

Paste one script tag where the form should appear. It loads your form in a frame that grows and shrinks with its content, so there is never a scrollbar inside it.

<script src="https://theraven.email/embed.js" data-form="your-form" async></script>

The Share tab of each form has this line with the real address filled in.

Attributes

Only data-form is required. The rest change how the form looks or what it starts with.

data-form
The form's address, the part after https://theraven.email/.
data-target
A CSS selector, like #contact. The form goes inside the first matching element. Without it, or when nothing matches, the form goes right after the script tag.
data-show-header
Set it to false to hide the title, avatar and about text. They show by default.
data-name, data-email, data-subject, data-message
Fill in a field ahead of time, for example with the email of someone already signed in to your site. The visitor can still change it. data-subject only works when the form shows a subject field.
data-placeholder
Replaces the hint text inside the message box.
data-width
A number of pixels, like 480, or any CSS width, like 40rem. The default is 100%.

With a few of them at once:

<div id="contact"></div>
<script src="https://theraven.email/embed.js"
  data-form="your-form"
  data-target="#contact"
  data-show-header="false"
  data-placeholder="What are you building?"
  data-width="560"
  async></script>

Which sites can embed it

Any site, until you say otherwise. Under Share, list the domains you trust, one per line. example.com allows that exact host, and *.example.com allows its subdomains (add example.com too if you want both). Everywhere else the frame shows a refusal instead of your form.

What the visitor sees

The form, styled with your colors and layout. After they press send, your verification message shows while their browser solves a short spam check, usually in about a second. Once it passes, the frame shows your confirmation text, or loads your redirect address if you set one.

Prefer no JavaScript at all? Use the plain HTML form instead.
