The short version: use it for real contact forms, don't use it to hurt anyone, and don't expect a guarantee from a free service.

The deal

RavenMail is free. There is no paid plan, and the bills are paid by donations. You can use it for personal sites, client work or a business.

What gets you banned

Spam, phishing, forms that ask for passwords or card numbers, malware in attachments, harassment, and anything illegal where you or the people writing to you live. Forms and accounts used for abuse get banned, and a banned form stops taking messages right away. Every hosted form and embed carries a link for reporting abuse.

Limits

Each account can have up to 10 forms and receive up to 10 messages a day and 250 a month, counted across all of its forms. Each form can send to up to 3 recipients. A form that gets reports from several people is paused until someone reviews it. These limits are set per account and can change.

No warranty

RavenMail is provided as is. It is run with care, but email can be delayed, bounced or lost, and the service can go down. RavenMail is not liable for messages that never arrive or for anything that follows from that. If a message would be expensive to miss, don't rely on one contact form alone.

Your stuff

Your forms and the messages they receive are yours. You can delete any message, any form or your whole account whenever you want. The privacy page says what is stored and for how long.

Changes

These terms can change. When they do, this page changes with them.
